NEWARK, DE, August 10, 2026. Synthyra Public Benefit LLC, which builds sequence-first AI for predicting protein interactions, today announced that Diane Heiser, PhD, has joined the company as an advisor.

Heiser is a biotech executive and scientific founder who has built research teams, scaled technology platforms, and advanced precision medicine programs. She will advise Synthyra as it moves Atlas from an internal tool into researcher access, partner evaluation, and work that companies can act on.
“Diane brings the exact operating perspective Synthyra needs at this stage: how to turn deep scientific capability into a company model that customers, partners, and investors can understand,” said Braydon McCormick, PhD, CEO and Co-founder of Synthyra. “Her feedback has already sharpened how we connect Atlas’s technical depth to real decisions in translational research, biotech partnerships, and drug discovery workflows.”
Atlas is Synthyra’s workspace for reasoning about protein interactions. It helps researchers move from sequence data and model output to clear decisions about which interactions to pursue. For scientists, that means a structured way to weigh candidate interactions, off-target risk, mechanism, and cross-species biology. For biotech and pharma partners, it offers a way to assess interaction biology earlier, before larger downstream commitments.

Synthyra is opening limited Atlas access for research teams working on protein interactions, candidate review, off-target effects, mechanism, or cross-species biology. The company is also talking with partners about uses of Atlas in drug discovery and candidate evaluation.

Diane Heiser, PhD, is a biotech executive and scientific founder. She co-founded Notable Labs, where she helped build a high-throughput personalized medicine platform for blood cancer research and led its scientific and technology work. She has held translational research leadership roles in oncology and precision medicine, and she advises early-stage biotech companies.
